Wall Hangings

  • 1/8” acrylic plastic (this sample is created with randomly arranged 1 inch, 2 inch, and 3 inch circles with both transparent and opaque finishes)

  • Each shape is connected with a silver metal S-hook and suspended from a ball chain and eyelet (shown here suspended from a square wooden dowel)

  • Made to order with custom sizes and colors

    • This sample is 45 inches high x 36 inches wide.

    • Orders can be made to fit any space with any custom color scheme and variety of circle sizes.

    • Supporting rod can be a material that compliments with the space.

  • Pricing: approximately $138/sq. ft.

    • For example, this sample is approximately 4 ft x 3 ft = 12 sq. ft. Multiply by $138 for a cost of $1,656.

    • Another example: a 6 ft x 6 ft wall hanging = 36 sq. ft. Multiply by $138 for a cost of $4,968.

  • Simple assembly, installation (I can ship/deliver this artwork with strands assembled and install for an additional cost), and maintenance

  • Notes:

    • In the 4th sample image, I am using a string to pull a strand away from a wall. You can see that there is a striking color that appears on the white wall when light passes through the transparent acrylic. If the wall hanging has some space away from the wall, there can be an interesting color play on the wall.

    • The 5th image shows the final column of the wall hanging with all 3 inch circles in one strand.

    • The final image shows the wall hanging fixed against a window. Much like my suspended ceiling sculptures, this design allows for light to pass through transparent shapes.

    • Please see the image below of a different series I created with spray painted circles mounted on black velvet. The design of the wall hangings in acrylic can be created in a random pattern like the sample above, or have an intentional design like the image below. In the image below, the left panel represents a sunrise, the middle panel represents a sun, and the right panel represents a sunset. With circles that are all the same size, the acrylic wall hangings can mimic this pixelated designed as seen in the image below.

 
 

Freestanding Sculptures

  • 1/8” and 1/4” acrylic plastic ‘flowers’

  • Each circle is plastic welded to an acrylic rod and then set into an acrylic base

  • Made to order with custom sizes and colors

    • The multicolor sample is 12 inches wide x 6 inches deep x 16 inches high on a white base. The single pink color sample is 6 inches wide x 6 inches deep x 16 inches high on a ‘clear with green edge’ base.

    • Orders can be made to fit any space and color scheme.

    • Bases can come in white or ‘clear with green edge’. Other colors may be possible.

  • Pricing:

    • 6x6 inch base = $150

    • 6x12 inch base = $300

  • Simple assembly and maintenance

  • Notes:

    • Multiple sculptures can work together to fill a large ledge or sill.

    • Larger bases can be made and pricing can be discussed.

    • Placing the artwork against a window would allow for a striking display of color and possible play of colored light against nearby walls and table surfaces.

  • As always, these large site-specific suspended sculptures are always available. I look forward to creating these works of art in a variety of sizes and colors. Ideal turn around time is 8 weeks, but expedited work is possible.
